Nuno Mira do Ó heads the Mira do Ó Vinhos and has developed three separate projects focusing on terroir-driven wines. His independent label features his own creations, while he collaborates with Joana Santiago on a project named SOU based in Vinho Verde, and with João Soares in Bairrada, called V Puro.

Nuno began his winemaking journey in 2001 by producing wines for others. In 2009, he launched his own endeavor in Bairrada in collaboration with winemaker João Soares, which marked the inception of the V Puro project. He expanded into Dão region in 2012 by partnering with João Corrêa, under the Druida label, while also using Mira do Ó for his Dão wines and entering Bucelas later on. The SOU project with Joana Santiago commenced in 2018, focusing on natural winemaking practices like wild fermentation and hands-off methods.
