I don’t usually purchase Bordeaux wines, but when I do come across one that captures my attention, it can be quite rewarding. Recently, I stumbled upon the Château Marquis de Terme Margaux 2022 at a Leclerc store in Lourdes, France, and I felt it was worth the €48 price tag. It turned out to be a good decision.

It has a good level of concentration and focus, supported by well-structured tannins. This wine is youthful and fresh, indicating promising aging potential over the next decade or possibly longer. Although it’s not a heavy wine due to its 13% alcohol content, it carries a seriousness that often goes unnoticed by critics at wine exhibitions. I would rate it 93/100.
