Really impressed by this fizz from Soalheiro in Vinho Verde.
Soalheiro Nature Pur Terroir Alvarinho 2022 Vinho Espumante IG Minho, Portugal features no added sulfites and offers an incredible freshness, structure, and texture. It showcases pure, pithy citrus fruit complemented by a hint of apple and some yeasty, spicy nuances. This wine is both nourishing and complete, providing a savory dimension to the fruit alongside grapefruit pith. With such focus and intrigue, it stands as one of the best sparkling wines I’ve encountered from Portugal. It promises excellent gastronomic pairing possibilities. 93/100.
