A new addition to London’s dining scene, Labombe has quickly risen to prominence, earning a Michelin star since its opening. This restaurant is a sister establishment to the two-Michelin-starred Trivet and is under the expertise of chef Jonny Lake, with Isa Bal curating the wine selections.
Nestled within the COMO hotel on Old Park Lane, Labombe offers patrons a stylish and inviting atmosphere. I had the pleasure of visiting with a wine producer, which altered the typical experience of choosing from the menu and wine list. Nevertheless, the food impressed me immensely, and the restaurant’s elegant design enhanced the overall dining experience.
The venue hosts a reasonable set lunch priced at £30 during weekdays, making it accessible for many. Additionally, the wine list is noted for its impressive scope and diversity, reflecting Isa’s talents in wine curation.
