Attending the M.Chapoutier Masterclass at the New York City DFWE

By | 16 March 2024

Explore the remarkable universe of M Chapoutier’s renowned wines in a unique masterclass conducted by the celebrated winemaker himself, Michel Chapoutier, together with co-host Natalie Earl, Decanter’s Regional Editor for France.

On Saturday, June 8, we welcome you on an expedition through the unique terroir of Hermitage, and discover how the different colours conduct across various zones in the Rhône Valley.

Chapoutier will steer attendees through a dynamic tasting experience, illuminating the influence of soil kinds, such as granite versus granilite and the importance of native yeasts and their impact on the expression of each wine.

Each meticulously crafted to showcase the diverse soils and microclimates of this renowned region.
