Founded by veteran winemakers Peter Dawson and Tim James, Dawson James is a boutique endeavor focused on crafting pure Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the cool climes of Tasmania. The duo sources fruit from Meadowbank Vineyard, noted for its superior sparkling wine grapes. They utilize a meticulous winemaking process, including whole-bunch pressing and eight months of aging on lees in French oak, resulting in a refined and elegant Chardonnay.
