Designer Christian Louboutin has recently made headlines by investing in the Ragnaud-Sabourin Cognac estate, a family-owned business that has been operating since 1850. Known for its high-quality spirits, Ragnaud-Sabourin is situated in the Grand Champagne region, which is highly regarded in the Cognac industry. The estate manages 35 hectares of vineyards and is committed to producing premium Cognac in limited quantities, respecting traditional craftsmanship.

Louboutin’s involvement with Ragnaud-Sabourin comes through his association with entrepreneur Alexis Dyèvre, who shares ties with the designer via the luxury furniture brand Maison Gatti. This partnership aims to enhance the estate’s international distribution and establish a stronger presence in prestigious venues.

Marine Deschamps, the managing partner of Ragnaud-Sabourin, expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership, emphasizing its significance as a fresh chapter for the Cognac house. The collaboration aligns with Louboutin’s dedication to preserving French artisanal traditions and exceptional craftsmanship, values that resonate deeply with the ethos of Ragnaud-Sabourin.

Apart from his new venture into the world of Cognac, Louboutin is well-known for his iconic fashion brand, launched in 1991. He is also an advocate for heritage-preserving projects, including the Gardens of Kerdalo in Brittany, which he acquired in 2021.
