Terre de La Custodia Tenuta Torrececcona Umbria Branco 2022 Italy
12.5% alcohol. This blend features Grechetto and Trebbiano alongside several local varieties, all aged in stainless steel without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The wine presents a focused and bright profile, showcasing delightful notes of lemon and lime, complemented by a hint of table grape. It’s a fruit-forward and vibrant wine with a pleasing salty nuance that enhances the fresh flavors. Overall, a supple and fruity experience. 89/100
Terre de la Custodia Grechetto Montefalco 2022 Italy
13% alcohol. Crafted using both stainless steel and oak with no malolactic fermentation, this wine dazzles with its aromatic and exotic character, delivering flavors of lime, grapefruit, and a subtle hint of anise. The wine possesses impressive focus, featuring juicy lemon notes and a slight bitterness on the finish. The fruit intensity in this wine is truly remarkable. 91/100

14% alcohol. This wine is fermented in stainless steel. It opens with a sweetly herbal aroma complemented by fine, spicy hints of tar, alongside notes of stewed strawberries and plums. On the palate, it provides a textured experience with pleasant spiciness and a certain structure, where the notes of spice, tar, and herbs beautifully counterbalance the sweet fruit flavors. 89/100

15% alcohol. Aged for 18 months in used barriques and large-format oak, this wine boasts a richly aromatic profile with notes of spice, cedar, and tar, complemented by sweet berry and dark fruit scents. The taste is dense and fruit-forward but showcases an intense, spicy aspect with a fine, grippy texture. It is bold, rich, and full of character, enhanced by a lovely touch of balsamic notes and significant depth. 91/100
Terre de la Custodia Sericum Montefalco Rosso 2020 Italy
15% alcohol. A blend of Sangiovese and other local varieties, this wine is aged in stainless steel. It presents boldly flavored notes of rich blackberry and cherry, intertwined with a spicy undertone. The well-integrated structure and refined tannins contribute to its depth and substance, culminating in a drying finish marked by damson and plum nuances. It strikes a satisfying balance between sweetness and savory elements. 93/100
Tenuta de la Custodia Exubera Montefalco Sagrantino 2016 Italy
15% alcohol. Sourced from a 2-hectare plot and aged in barriques and tonneaux for 18-24 months, this wine reveals a complex nose with signs of maturity. It features notes of tar, ash, and spice, as well as rich blackberry and black cherry. The palate is concentrated and ripe, showcasing bold dark fruits with a touch of lushness and maturity, rounded off by a gravelly, savory edge. The finish is grippy and engaging. 92/100
