Discover Yuki Bar: London’s Hidden Gem for Natural Wine Lovers

By | 23 June 2026

During our recent exploration of London Fields, one of the capital’s vibrant gastronomic hotspots, we made a stop at Yuki Bar. This stylish venue has consistently impressed its visitors with an excellent selection of natural wines and well-crafted dishes. The bar maintains a focused approach, sourcing its beverages from six select suppliers to ensure a diverse yet well-priced menu.

The short food menu offers a variety of options that beautifully showcases fresh ingredients. We were particularly enamored by an unexpectedly delightful carrot dish paired with grapefruit, exemplifying how simple ingredients can be elevated through thoughtful preparation. Another highlight was a scrumptious beetroot dish that perfectly captured umami flavors, alongside a creative combination of tomato and cucumber enriched with shiso leaf for added complexity.

Regarding the wine selection, we sampled several noteworthy offerings, starting with the 2024 no-added sulfite Lapierre bottling. Each wine brought its own unique characteristics:

  • Domaine Bohn Le Coup de Jus 2023 Alsace: A juicy, tart Pinot Noir with appealing red cherry notes and a nice acidic finish (92/100).

  • JC Garnier Les Justice Chenin Blanc 2023 Loire, France: This dry, mineral wine possesses a vibrant citrus drive complemented by hints of apple, showcasing a beautiful balance (94/100).

  • Les Jardins de Theseiis Gamay 2020 Loire, France: A spicy and savory option with earthy tones, proving to be quite evolved yet maintaining a pleasant bite (90/100).

  • Clos du Tue-Boeuf Brin de Chèvre 2022 Vin de France (Loire): A lively blend with sour cherry and lime characters, this wine was also briny and intense, making it quite refreshing (93/100).

  • Marcel Lapierre Morgon (N) 2024 Beaujolais, France: This elegant and refined cuvée features juicy cherries, subtle peppery notes, and an overall purity that makes it highly enjoyable (94/100).

Visiting Yuki Bar continues to affirm its status as one of London’s premier spots for natural wine enthusiasts, with an inviting environment and a consistently impressive menu that highlights the best of seasonal produce and quality wines.
