With the seventh installment of The Old Vine Conference set to begin in Northern California, enthusiasts around the world are invited to participate via free livestream. Scheduled from October 31 to November 4, 2025, this five-day event, held in collaboration with Zinfandel Advocates & Producers (ZAP), aims to celebrate and promote old vines through an engaging mix of tastings, seminars, and vineyard visits.
The conference invites an array of influential speakers, including acclaimed wine writer Jancis Robinson MW, Ridge’s Paul Draper, Rosa Kruger from The Old Vine Project in South Africa, and Dr. Laura Catena of Catena Zapata. Robinson remarked on California’s rich heritage of old vines, emphasizing its role in supporting the preservation of these historic vineyards.
