This wine is novel to me. A natural Champagne where the foremost label resembles a back label, but it’s packed with intrigue.
Champagne Telmont Réserve de la Terre Extra Brut NV France
Contains 12% alcohol. It’s a blend of 44% Pinot Meunier, 34% Chardonnay and 22% Pinot Noir. The Base year (70%) is 2020 and the rest comes from 2019 and 2018 in equal parts. It’s organic, with a dosage of 2.5 g/l. Fully yellow in hue. This has a balanced mixture of pear and cherry fruit with some green apple and a hint of lemon. This wine contains nice depth, with yellow plum and almond thrown into the blend. It’s quite vinous and gastronomic, and it’s truly distinctive. Rated 92/100.
