This prestigious acknowledgment honors restaurants and wine bars for their exceptional wine programs, evaluated by an esteemed panel including Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, and prominent wine critics.

Established in 2014, the awards recognize not only the best wine lists but also those that demonstrate sustainability, creativity, and excellence in wine selection. This year, 312 establishments from around the globe were awarded Star Accreditation, showcasing the impressive quality of wine curation in the hospitality sector, especially in light of recent challenges faced by the industry.

Neil Beckett, editor of The World of Fine Wine, expressed admiration for the resilience displayed by these establishments, highlighting that even amidst adversity, many have managed to maintain or elevate their star ratings. This trend reflects the global commitment to excellence in wine programs.

The United States topped the list with 113 accredited establishments, including 71 three-star winners, such as Wine Bar George, recognized for having the best wine-by-the-glass list. Following closely, Australia had 31 establishments awarded, while the UK maintained its reputation with 25 recognized establishments.

Notably, New York showcased its wine prowess with 21 accolades, while Australian and UK venues also achieved impressive recognition for their wine lists.
