World’s Best Wine Lists Awards 2025: Celebrating Little Nell and Park Hotel Vossevangen at The Savoy

The World’s Best Wine Lists Awards 2025 took place recently at The Savoy Hotel in London, highlighting the finest wine offerings from around the globe. With a focus on celebrating exceptional wine lists, this year’s event witnessed the attendance of notable figures in the hospitality industry.

The prestigious title of Wine List of the Year was awarded to The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado. Remarkably, they also secured the Best Hotel Wine List title. Meanwhile, the Park Hotel Vossevangen in Norway triumphed in the Champions’ League competition, winning both the Champions’ League Best Overall Wine List and Best Wine-by-the-Glass List awards.

The United States shined brightly in the competition, taking home ten awards, with New York recognized for its diverse offerings, including three Global Category winners. Noteworthy establishments included Kru in Brooklyn for Best Micro Wine List and One White Street for Best Half-Bottle List.

Not just limited to the US, the event celebrated international contributions, including winners from Switzerland, Mauritius, and Australia, demonstrating a truly global representation. Sydney shared in the spotlight with Shell House earning the Best Medium-Sized Wine List and The Wine Bar at The International winning for Best Short Wine List.

The evening also honored significant contributions to wine hospitality through the inaugural Guiding Spirit Awards. These awards recognized individuals such as Joseph Roca of El Celler de Can Roca in Spain and Valeria Mortara from Anchoita Restaurant in Buenos Aires, among others.

The awards program, established in 2014, features rigorous assessment by panels of leading wine professionals, highlighting the vital role of well-curated wine lists in enhancing dining experiences worldwide.
