Dynamic Vines, a well-regarded importer of biodynamic, organic, and low-intervention wines located in Bermondsey, London, opened its doors to the public on a recent Saturday morning. While exploring the area during the Spa Terminus crawl, I had the opportunity to stop by and participate in a tasting featuring the wines of Emmanuel Giboulot, a producer I had not yet encountered but was eager to experience. The tasting showcased an impressive lineup, particularly the white wines that stood out for their quality despite their understated appellations.
Emmanuel Giboulot’s family has a notable history; his father was a pioneer of organic farming in Burgundy during the 1970s. Following a brief stint in acting, Emmanuel returned to wine in 1985 to create his own organic domaine. The range includes wines produced under his name as well as negociant wines, all cultivated following biodynamic principles.
