Beautiful aromatics of spice-laden blackcurrant fruit with some tar and gravel notes. The palate has freshness with appealing berry and blackcurrant notes, but also some grippy structure and warmth. Rich but well balanced, and classically styled. This is a distinctive wine that’s good now, but will age really well too. 94/100
